Training

I provide engaging, evidence-based training sessions designed to give your staff the knowledge and practical tools to support children in their first and second years of life. Each session is interactive, relevant, and tailored to your setting — creating a supportive space for staff to build confidence and deepen their understanding.

Training
Overview

Child Development
Learn about key developmental milestones, how to identify red flags, and effective strategies for supporting children who may be struggling.

Sensory Differences
Gain a clear understanding of sensory processing and how it impacts behaviour, learning, and engagement in young children.

Each session is designed for small groups of up to 15 staff members, ensuring a personalised and hands-on learning experience.

Who is training for?

Nursery practitioners working with babies and toddlers (0–2 years).
This includes baby room and toddler room staff, room leaders, and early years practitioners in settings such as:

  • Private day nurseries

  • Childminders with assistants

  • Early years rooms in school-based nurseries

  • Managers or deputies who oversee under-2 provision

OR

Early years professionals who want to strengthen their understanding of early development e.g., SENCOs or practitioners in training (Level 2–3) who haven’t had much experience with under-2s.

Training can also be extended to include children up to 4 years old if your setting would like a whole-team approach.

Additional modules can also be tailored for older age groups (2–4 years), ensuring a consistent approach to supporting child development across your whole setting.
